  • Pins and needles in Arm

I have carpel tunnel in my left wrist and I am fed up with the sensation in my hand and arm. My hand goes dead and I cant feel a thing except the tingling, I could prick my fingers with a pin and not feel a thing, and its really begining to annoy me. It wakes me up and is making me moody. I had an injection before christmas and am waiting for an op. I am fed up being restricted to what I can do. Being on here make sit play up. ARRRRRRRGH *******************

    It will do hon.

Have you tried using your left hand for the mouse - feels strange but I do this sometimes when I've ploughed through thousands of bits of info for clients and the right wrist starts to feel tired and emotional.

It is my left wrist that I have it in and I now use my lap top. I try not to come on here too often because of it. Its night times that are the worst it feels like its burning and aches as well as pins and needles till it gets past that point. It is so frustrating not being able to do things, or put up with it which I am trying to do. I dont know wether to go back to the doctor for another injection as the op is supposed to be before April !!! if I believe that. I cant wear my wedding ring etc as my fingers are swollen and I dont want to have them cut off.

My sister had hers operated on recently JackieJ and it has been completely successful. You could find out what the waiting time for your op is. If you knew when you were having it done it might not be so distessing for you. Hope it's very soon.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

I had the right one done a few years ago. I was told it would be before April so fingers crossed, I also have trigger finger in my ring finger.

It locks and then its hard to straighten cant describe it very well. If I bend my finger in to my palm it stays there till I force it back
