    Piccys of my new garden! Ooo the potential!

    Hi everyone.

    As promised here are some pics of my new house and new garden! Heaven knows how i'll manage to move all my Yorkshire garden to Ipswich! Eek!!

    Thanks to everyone for your previous comments and advice! It's such an exciting time. And as you can see by the big grin on his face my dog Clyde can see the potential.

              I'm open to planning suggestions... I was thinking of planting peas and beans in a trench on the bottom fence.

              And I'd like 3 raised beds but do I stagger them slightly diagonally at the end of the garden or keep them in a straight line in line with the patio paving?

                  Well, you won't have to spend ages undoing someone else's work
                  I think I'de watch it for a whole day, see exactly where the sun goes, then plan round that - slightly angled beds might catch the sun better

                        Clyde is adorable Raised beds is the way to go. Do you have space for a greenhouse?

                          That's fantastic!!
                          I'd go with raised beds too- it'll give some 3D as well as soil depth cos I understand that a lot of newbuild often have rubble under the lawns- so that would affect root growth!

                            You're not going to keep all that grass are you?
                            Grass is the spawn of the devil!

                            Lovely to have so much potential there though. My long garden was all grass when we came. It isn't now!

                              Great stuff! I like Sarz idea of watching the sun and how the light fills the area. I love making little sketch plans and lists for garden things. You're going to have so much fun!
