Beautiful daughter, beautiful strawberry. Congratulations! Up here in the north mine have developed from the flowers this week, but are far away from ripening.

Did she eat or share?! Who could blame her if she hogged that first taste of summer all to herself.

        Both subjects quite 'delicious'!

I have the first signs of my strawberries blushing today - but it'll be a fair few days before they get like yours - enjoy!

Woohoo, well done. Ours are just beginning to swell - nothing ripe yet though

She did tempt me by allowing me to smell it first though!!

arent home grown strawberries simply the best? They taste and look a million times better than the supermarket bought varieties. I am reliably informed that supermarket strawberries have to be able to withstand being dropped from a certain height and not bruise, this is so they can have a long shelf life. Plastic nonsense!!
