Isn't it great when you can borrow the memory banks of like-minded people, when your own let you down? I seem to have to do this more often nowadays

Absolutely Thelma. This is a relatively new thing for me, I've always had such a good memory. At a "funny" age I think.

Google pulled plug on Picasa 30 April 2016.

Not sure about Google photo storage but I seem to remember something about their restricting image size.

I use Fickr, which has 1TB free storage and allows any image size. If you don't do a lot of photos free version of uploading ok but if you do lots pro version does it automatically.
