  • Ofsted still not been!!

We had the notice of intention to inspect a couple of weeks ago as i posted on here. Two weeks later they still haven't come. All the staff are exhausted as we need a satisfactory to come out of special measures.
People are now becoming ill through the stress of it all, it is so sad to see normally bubbly people so tired and run down because they care so much basically, that they can't function normally.
I haven't had the time to do any house work, go up my plot for weeks as all i have had to do is work, worry and sleep. How sad is that!!
I am exhausted and wish they would just come, i do understand why it is this way but the net effect is that it has totally demoralised our team.
I never thought i would ever say it but i hope Ofsted come next week, will let you know and thank you to all those lovely grapes who were so supportive when last i posted.

I also hope they come soon. There is nothing worse than waiting, it can be soul destroying. Do they give you a date when they are due or is it a surprise visit?.....keep your head up & good luck.

Oh, Miffy I do hope they come this week too, it's awful being on tenterhooks for so long! I'll be thinking of you this week, I hope that you can all find the energy to plan a staff treat for after they've been, even if it's just cream cakes in the staff room

We have been kept supplied with chocolates by the governors which is lovely, though not so good for your waistline!! Though having said that i do not have an appetite at the moment and i suppose a good thing is i have lost some weight though dieting would have been easier.
We have all said we would like a treat when they have been and the head teacher has promised us some cakes as you suggested SarzWix. We also have our Christmas meal soon but to be honest i think after our meal we will all be nodding off!!!
Bigmally in answer to your question no we don't get a date just they will visit within the month!! We are almost expecting them to leap out of the stock cupboard and say boo!!
Will keep you posted guys when we have 'been done'.
Thank you for your kind words.x

Fingers still crossed for you, Miffy. It'll be fine, I'm sure. I know what you mean about waiting, though - I hate it and find it very stressful. At least you know they should be with you in the next two weeks.

Get everyone doing deep breathing relaxation type exercises, and keep smiling. You'll be fine

                Hi Guys,
As promised latest in the great not been saga, didn't turn up this week either.
Staff morale, rock bottom, people ill through stress.
                Christmas cancelled!! Not really.
Will let you know, they have surely got to come this week.

Hope you can try and forget about it for the weekend and relax. Tell yourself that you've done all you can to prepare and then switch off from school. Do something you really enjoy - you deserve it.

Must be awful waiting Miffy, but try and destress over the weekend. Easier said than done I'm sure but try and do something to take your mind off it.
Hope all goes well when they finally do turn up.
