  • New slot on the Vine?

    Hi all,

Do you think it would be a good idea to have a space where we can post drawings etc of plans for the various bit of equipment that we alll seem to make.

You know the sort of things, Coldframes, greenhouses, sheds and the like.

I imagine that there maybe one or two who wou;d find this useful.

Yup, I second that. I dont use coldframes because I find them so impractable to use, especially for someone like me with dodgy knees and a stiff back(injuries, not lack of fitness).

        Hi Charlie,
The perfect answer for you would be to build one thats raised up. You could store othre stuff underneath that you don't use all the time - Pots maybe?

I've got some plans that I down loaded somwhere for a propagator that could be adapted for this. Being raised up may mean that you wouldn't suffer with the frost quite as much either. I'll try and dig it out for you.

Thanks for passing on my suggestion to the powers that be Lesley

Photos of an enclosed chicken run for 2-4 chickens would be very welcome (preferably constructible from old pallets). Sue.
