  • Never, judge a book by its cover!

I don't watch Britiain's Got Talent but had seen write ups about this one person online so had to watch part of the first episode tonight.

We shouldn't do it but most of us do judge a book by it's cover, first impressions and all of that.

    Watch this...........

YouTube - Susan Boyle - Singer - Britains Got Talent 2009

I watched for the first time for the very same reason. Beautiful voice ......but, but, but (and I am hesitating here) could it be that the mismatch between voice and appearance makes the voice sound even better?

No, on second thoughts, credit where it's due - she has a divine singing voice. I wonder if she has had any voice training?

She brought tears to my eyes, especially after seeing the way everyone laughed at her at the beginning.

I haven't heard that song before or seen the show but I can't stop humming the flippin' thing now.

If you liked that song then you MUST see the show, or get the dvd. Every song in it is as strong as that one, and some even stronger.

I've seen the stage show four times, and listened to the soundtrack many more. In fact, I reckon I could stand in for any part at short notice - if only I could sing!

Treat yourself to this- you won't regret it!

My OH watched this and came through to the kitchen raving about this woman and her voice - just watched it a couple of times on You Tube - unbelievable, absolutely amazing singing voice - though as a weegie, I have to say I don't like the east coast accent she talks with !

She was brilliant! Just wondered why nobody has noticed her voice before, I mean as a young child surely somebody must have thought she was gifted.

We were in the audience at the Glasgow audition when she preformed. Everyone was on their feet and in tears - she was stunning.

How did you manage that ? were you there to watch someone you knew or just in the audience ? She was brilliant, hope she goes further, as for some of them why do they bother. I would rather see people who have actually got a talent.
