  • Morrisons tubs/bins

    Hi

I keep reading on the forum that people use Morrisons tubs/bins for growing things in. Really stupid question, but can you buy them from morrisons and what do they look like?

    Thanks Lou

Lou, I think you may be referring to them selling those black pots that their fresh flowers are delivered in - currently about 99p for 8, drill some holes in the bottom and they are perfect for things like tomatos. I have about 30 of them.......

Like black buckets without handles. Any shop that sells cut flowers will have them and you may be able to have them, just by asking. Morrisons sell them, by their cut flower display, usually stuck together with yellow tape.

My local ASDA gives them away and LD's right, Valentine's Day will mean they have loads to get rid of. As far as I know, Tesco are the only ones who recycle theirs which is a pity as they are square and would make excellent planters.
