  • Masterchef?

Anyone following it? It's finals week this week.
Last night was superb!- they all deserve to win- although I sort of think the younger one might just pip the post!

It was brilliant last night. The younger one was given authority and he used it well. When it comes to body language I like the dark one with the big eyes and indian mum.

Yep, we saw it and thought it was really good as well, and after last night it's a pity that they can't all be crowned 'masterchef' as it's going to be very difficult to chose between them. Unfortunately, we will miss tonight's episode as we are out to some friends for dinner....well a pizza from the local delivery 'man in the van'!

To be honest with you, the way this series' been running that's a distinct possibility. I've never seen so many 'duo's' go through.

I think it'd be great if they got all the previous winnwers back for a competition.
Strange how you never seem to hear 'what happened next' to them.

Also there's a Masterchef in Aussi - and maybe elsewhere? Perhaps we could be 'treated to' an intercontinental winners competion???

To be honest I can't really warm to any of them this year, usually have a favourite but don't see it with any of them this time. Unlike some of the comments above we thought the younger guy with the beard has struggled the last couple of days and think he's more style over substance (they've made a few comments about him not getting flavour into his food for goodness sake!), the doctor has seemed the strongest as he hasn't needed any additional help and the other guy has had to be bailed out too much.

Re previous winners, think there was a catch up thing a few months ago but forgot to watch it

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I may have said this before but this programme makes me cross!! Two thirds of the world is starving to death and a couple of fat, over-fed people niggle about there being just not enough salt in a dish or the spuds not being smooth enough!
Jim loves the programme but I could put my foot through the screen when it comes on. How lucky we all are to have a good meal every day, saltless or lumpy!!!!!!!!!!

Last night would have annoyed you then.

Just in case their food wasn't 'good enough' an entire alternative meal was prepared for his Highness somebody or other and his Royal family in India. ( I wonder what happened to the alternative dishes which in the end weren't required!)

I look on it as a form of art to be honest- but I understand what you are saying Polly

( I suppose you could argue the same thing about the amount of money being poured into a bunch of guys kicking a ball about the place- tis just a ball in the end!!!!).....* runs off to hide!

I'm just surprised no-one has decked John Torrode yet. I can't stand people looking over my shoulder while I'm working.
