Stumbled on Queen Anne's Street while walking back to Victoria.

All the houses had identical ornate carvings around front doors.
Looks like fire insurance plate. https://www.flickr.com/photos/103667.../shares/6g9G08

      Me too - or squash.
Maybe that's what made Danny stumble?

Sorry lettuce fans, but it wasn't in a vegetable forum!

Just wanted to show what you can find by chance when away from main road. It's this sort of place Khan will ruin if he forces buses from Oxford St

I seem to recall similar dire predictions being made when the top of Trafalgar square was pedestrianised and they don't seem to have happened.

I also don't think you'd put busses down there, and the consultation doesn't seem to suggest it does

https://consultations.tfl.gov.uk/roa...-street/#Buses on and around Oxford Street West

do you have evidence to show that it will?

Its the same everywhere - gems of architecture if you look around, especially up above ground floor level or the shop facades.
Haven't been to London for 20+ years, doubt that I ever will now.
