iPad help please

I find I cannot upload photos I have taken from my ipad unless I reduce the file size somehow.
So, I either crop the photo by a third or more, or email it to myself (you can select attachment file size eg medium on the email itself)
There are probably other, slicker solutions too...

Ps if you want me to explain these in more detail, please say ;-)

I don't need to resize my iPad photos , but it's an old one so maybe not as many pixels?????
However mine come out upside down so I need to remember to turn the iPad wrong way round before taking the piccie.

Can't help with the staying logged in. Never managed it with my iPad. Think that's more vine than iPad issue. I could be wrong.
As for photos I'll run you though step by step what I do. But it still might be different for you. I have a very old iPad. So old Apple no longer support it!
You take your photo and crop it as chestnut has already said.
Then go advanced
Then click on the little picture ( square box with a tree in it, on the second row down)
Then a little box will appear that says select image. This one

As you can see, from computer is already selected
Then you click on choose file and this will appear

Then you click on photo library. Choose your photo. Then click on upload file(s).
Done

Use this for reducing gile size if you don't want to crop your photos- it's simple and quick.

Click the space in the download box, it will take you to your photo library. Choose photo and it will reduce the file size. You then click to save. Takes seconds

Tried all that, and cannot for the life of me get a photo from my iPad on to the Vine. I used to before it all went a bit funny a couple of years ago.
So now, you all have to trust me when I say my crops have been fantastic and I have a weed free garden lol

I remember showing you how to do it several years ago and it's not changed. Where is it going wrong?

Thank you for all the help. I've managed but only with the old laptop, resizing and saving them with new jpeg extensions.

I don't have an iPad just a normal pc but I use the free PIXresizer to reduce mine for putting on forums.

My ipad is not that young but this how I resize pictures for the vine. Take the picture, go to preview, click edit, click the square icon on the side. It will give you a frame round the picture with bold corners. Click on one of the corners and move it inwards thus reducing the size of the image. You can then move the image so that it is central. Click done. If the picture still won’t up load reduce it a bit more and away you go.
