  • I'm nuts, apparently

This morning I loaded up a back pack with 12lb weight of books - gardening, of course - and yomped out on camp for 40 mins.

My reason - that is the weight I have lost to-date and I wanted to see what it used to feel like with it back on me - t'was heavy! And when I took it off I turned and almost fell over cos I was 'light'

    My pal says I'm nuts

Now, ya see Pisk, if you'd have tabbed instead of yomped, you would have lost the same amount of weight again.
So I agree with your mate, you're nuts for not tabbing.

Noooooooo,Noooooooooooooooo, you not nuts,i remember a few years ago,at a WW meeting,a house brick often was passed around in a bag of cause, for peeps to feel the weight lol,and once i can remember some lard laid out on the table, just to show the amount of FAT lost,it certainly makes you think,
Haveing the books on yur back places all the weight in 1 place, whereas the wheight you lost was from all over, suggest you could try the experiment out again, only put them in bags and attatch them to a belt lol,you should get a better idea,as things are destribet out all round you,

We all know you're nuts! Nothing to do with yomping around with books on your back though! You could try a variation of Lottie's idea & wear something with lots of pockets stuffed with weights/stones so that you get an idea of how the weight felt all over & you could drop the stones from your pockets/down your trouser legs as you walked along... no wait a minute that's 'The Great Escape' I'm thinking of!
