            What is that old saying?

"See Cranes flying high, weather will be dry. See Cranes flying low, buy a lottery ticket."

.......No, I made that one up as well - but worth buying a lottery ticket anyway!

Does a sparrow hawk on your bird bath count in any way?? No photo, was too shocked!

Well, we have kites (all year round) and the buzzards have just arrived back, so guess the wee tweeters are used to the more carnivorous (spelling?) sort.

But would love to see a crane!

We've seen them on Horsey Mere whilst on a boat trip with Ross whose trips start from Horsey Windpump. They are huge. Apparently the Broads Authority denied their existence for many years.

I was expecting a photo of a real life fairy!

Cranes are okay too, I suppose.
