  • I have fallen in love........

with a pig...... not just any pig, a micro pig. Been to a farm today that just happens to have micro pig piglets, with more still to be born. Man working there just happened to mention that the pigs r for sale (only to good homes and not for dinner plates!!!) I WANT ONE!!!! i've measured the shed that doesn't get used and its perfect, probably too big for the piggy but i can always section off........ now all i need to do is reseach before i buy. Have any of u had experience with pigs?

I have friends who had a house Pig - it cost them a fortune, as it would eat anything. Cables being a favourite, but also any clothing left around, shoes, utensils, legs of furniture. I'm assured the list is longer

            Good luck!

Very, very cute ickle piglet.....but what about when it's all growned up?I know it will stay pretty little, but will it's teeth?I hate pigs teeth
If it's what you want though, don't let me put you off, lots of people have them as pets so I'm sure it's doable

Pet pigs always remind me of 'A Country Practice'...I used to love that programme and wanted to be the lady who had the pig.
the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.

Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have.xx

You'd best get some exterior accommodation sorted for 'them' then!

Just a thought- would you be better off with 2 gals ? I know they're very intelligent - and wondered if one on its own might be a bit lonely- esp in winter.
You sound like you have room for 2...and maybe you could have a few litters from them both over the years.
