This has been changed to a poster advertising a special event being held worldwide on Saturday 15th November at Noon. People who have suffered the loss of a baby wether its through miscarriage, still birth or other such loss will be releasing a white balloon which will be named and dated for each child. This is a lovely way for people like myself to express their love for those angels but the event also has a much more profound message to the world.

After posting the other day about the success of getting a certain sick group on Facebook banned, I am sorry to say (although I admit I havent posted before as it is starting to upset me) that the group re-opened the day or so after. The group set up to try and get Facebook to remove it has now grown to an astonishing 10,000+ memebers and that is just in a week. The balloon release is another way to highlight the cause as it is proving difficult to get the press to take any further notice and the Police have no powers either.

You can still join the group if you are a facebooker or indeed by joining facebook just to support this cause. If you missed what the group is called then I am happy for you to PM me or find me on Facebook (Tammy Grigg)

Happy (though wet!) Monday to all.

Oh Finedon, I have a dimella now.
I can't support balloon releases Dolphins, whales, turtles, seabirds and other animals have all been killed by balloons, choking on them thinking they are food. They aren't biodegradable either. don't let go

I will, however, support your Facebook cause.

I'm sorry FD I have to agree with Two_Sheds - I'm anti balloons, not the sort of thing to release into the countryside I'm afraid.

I too am not going to realse a balloon - sorry should have said that I have pointed this out to them. I will have a four minute silence (one for each of my angels) at Noon instead. Its gonna look odd in the middle of a craft fair but its better than putting wildlife at risk.

Perhaps you could have a paper version or a kite? I can certainly understand the need for something symbolic - I hope the Day helps you.
