      Not difficult, was it ?
After that, we're on the way to spring and seed sowing.

I am old enough that the excitement of Christmas doesn’t keep me awake at night.
My calendar tells me it’s lunch at my sisters house, and 9 lessons and carols in the evening ;-)

The French consider that date as the beginning of winter...that feels a tad depressing -I prefer the idea that the nights are getting shorter and Spring is on it's way.

The British consider it the first day of winter too. It's only the Met Office that is trying to change things. The winter solstice occurs at the same time for everyone on the planet, while 1st December varies its start around the globe.

My mother's birthday was June 21 and my father's December 21!
                Cheers Ant.
