  • HMRC e-mail warning

    If anyone receives an e-mail from HMRC stating you have a tax refund DON'T open the attachment. Like banks, they don't send out e-mails for this but write to you. IT'S A SCAM.

    Thanks Skegblade, I get alsorts on my hotmail. I just report them as phishing scams.

      We have been sent 4 of these. Not opened them but header indicates we have £4000 tax refund if we send bank details! Yeah right!!

            Best warn one of my colleagues, she said yesterday she had an email - hope she doesn't send bank details

              I had you all worked up when I got one a while back, do you remember, as I dont earn enough to pay tax it would be nice to get some back lol.
