  • Hey you Welsh Welshies: Monmouth

I don't know if any of you are popping to Monmouth?

One of my favourite painters is having his first solo show there in the summer hols: July 5th to August 10th, 2013

    Gallery - PAUL BURGESS ART

I don't know him personally, and I can't make it, but wanted to spread the word as he seems like a really nice fella and his work's good, very distinctive.

Like his style, 2S He doesn't have many paintings left for sale - not that I could afford them anyway!
Incidentally, Monmouth is almost England and there is no passport control at the border, so feel free to come and see the exhibition - although I've no idea what date its on. Couldn't find it on his or the gallery's websites.

It must be an unwritten rule VC, cos I've always through of monmouth as almost England too not just because of its geography. I think its probably to do the wealth that is associated to the area in general.

Really cool paintings TS, I'm not showing the missus though we've got enough cows pictures as it stands.

Do you remember when they used to say "Wales and Monmouthshire"? As if it was another country

South Wales and Monmouthshire was the official title of the now South Wales Cricket Club
