Default Heritage Seed Library. It’s not too late......

Just thought I’d let peeps know, if anyone was procrastinating about joining the Heritage Seed Library, then now might be a good time.

The next list Is due to be sent out to members beginning of December.

I know some were members then left for various reasons, (I was one of them), but I rejoined.

You have to be a member of Garden Organic In order to be a member of the Seed Library.

    Info here...... https://www.gardenorganic.org.uk/hsl

I was lucky enough to do 2 seed saving courses with them this year, and it was fascinating. (I’m hoping to blog about it in due course.).

I know many seeds are available via the forums own virtual Seed list.

But have a think, and happy growing.

(I am in no way affiliated with Garden Organic or the Heritage Seed Library).....although I’ve just remembered I’m going to be a seed guardian in 2018.

What shapes the marrow?............I won't ask about the dudi as I've been embarrassed by them in the supermarket

the marrow is Long White Trailing - about 18" long, orange flesh is soft, spongy and tender and surrounded by a hard skin, white or very pale yellow gradually become darker in colour as it matures

The dudi is supposed to grow to 1m long. They had another one that grows to the size of a small child but they didn't say how old the child was - that could make a big difference.
