Apologies for not being around much over the last few months. Some of you may remember that in 2009/2010 we had the trauma of my then 13 year old grandson's cancer followed immediately by his mother's bowel cancer (our daughter). Thankfully, they both appear to be fit and well, although my daughter had drastic lifechanging surgery.
Since the end of 2010, and well into 2011, my sister's daughter had her battle with lung cancer. To cut a long story short, this has now spread and she has just months to live. She is 43 and has two beautiful girls aged 11 and 14.
I have been researching on the net and I would appreciate anyone with personal information regarding Phoenixtears to contact me by Personal Message I am aware of rules and regulations on this site and accept them, I do not wish to fall foul of the MODS or the sensibilities of any grape and therefore I do not think an open discussion is appropriate. I am not asking for sympathy. On this site, with all the lovely people here, that is a given.
I also do not need anybody to Google this for me as I have done so already
Apologies if this post appears abrupt. I find it difficult to accept that my niece has a very limited life and will do all I can to seek help.
    Thank you all in advance

Thank you all. I have a headache trying to follow links that I am chasing. Think I'll give it a rest for the night as I'm going round in circles. What I didn't put in my original post was that it caused my sister, when the second diagnosis was made, to have an attack of something called Ramsey Hunt syndrome (a form of Bell's Palsy) so she has a frozen open eye and a drooped mouth and has lost her balance which makes walking difficult. They are worried that ulceration will occur and she will lose the sight of the eye. They cannot guarantee that she will ever get back to what she was. If I was writing a novel and using all this it wouldn't sell as people would say it was too far fetched. !! Thank you everyone for at least reading the post, even if you are unable to help. Not much of a pray-er after all that has happened to the family but perhaps some of you are, in which case "Give Him an earbashing please" !!
