  • Hello again and Instagram/Twitter/blogs

Hello grapes...couldn't think where to put this...I was an ADDICTED vine-member *waves at VeggieChicken, Zazen and co*and lots of you were very kind about my dim questions and frenzied edible-gardening-in-a-tiny-space crusade, and then life got in the way...but I've been missing you all and WISHING I had time for a bit of grapery, not work/family stuff. I've decided though that the odd bit of lurking won't cut the mustard and time MUST be made. So...are any of you talking GYO on Instagram/twitter? Am on there quite a lot for work so could at least catch up a bit there. And otherwise...what have I missed?

Hi BR, Luvly to see you again
I wouldn't know where to start with what you've missed, so just jump in and lets talk
I don't have time to do this twitter/FB stuff although I do have accounts on both. Most of the time I'm here, having a giggle in the corner
    How's your gardening?

feel a bit like the time I got glandular fever and was off school for weeks, and when I got back everything was different!
Garden looking mad as b/c of back problems I had to get two VERY raised beds - Harrod Hortic table things - which are in fact great but take up lots of space. Think I'm finally sorting out one of my dilemmas, i.e. what to put in soil/beds and what in pots. Um...still have a very very bad unusual-edible-buying habit. VERY bad. Got lots of seeds to share if anyone wants some...I could send them to the seed swap again if that's good?
How are YOU? How does your garden/s grow?

The Vine's basically the same but ever changing as people come and go. Still lots of familiar faces here that you'll recognise.
I'm still running the Virtual Seed Parcel if you want to offload any seeds and swap them for something different.
My garden is slowly emerging from the raspberry jungle it had become although having 3 "puppies" who like to dig and hase around with plantpots means it will always be chaotic. Fun though

Very real little doglets! I took in a dog from a rescue and a few weeks later she had 5 puppies - and I kept 2

ohhh...just looked at the beginning of the thread with, er, suggestions about temperature taking and newspaper - and then went to the end...they are incredibly sweet! sigh, unbelievable. they look like the incredibly expensive dogs I see round here...I wish I hadn't missed the moment-by-moment excitements but congratulations! They are lucky dawgs

Hello and welcome back I hope you find time but the nice thing about the vine is it here waiting for you when you are ready.

Ty for your seeds from the VSP. I have some of your honesty in my front garden. I have struggled so many times with it but yours where very willing to grow even a seed that was stuck under the sellotape

Hey, BroadRipple! Welcome back! The vine's kind of addictive, isn't it? Very hard to give up completely, 'cos apart from all the virtual friends you'd leave behind, you just know when you have a tricky question that no-one else can solve, someone here is bound to know the answer.

Hello Broad Ripple. Are you meaning you want pointers on Instagram and Twitter or are you planning on staying around on here? Don't do either of them, never looked at Instagram and Twitter looks very restrictive to somebody who talks a lot

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
