  • Had a Fall

This morning I was out dropping off my catalouges when I slipped, knocked my head hard on the ground, bent my glasses and sprained my right hand. I now have a bit of a black eye along my eyebrow and a splint on my hand.
Went to hospital and luckily nothing broken and no damage to my head.
Managed to drive myself home although on hindsight I shouldnt have. ( was only round the corner ) Daughter was home from school on a non pupil day and oh is taking a few days holiday and was in town.
Be careful out there its slippy in the wet.

Ouch! Poor you, glad you're able to take it a bit easy. It's horrid to fall once you're a 'grown up', as you don't bounce like little 'uns (although they don't all the time). Take care.

                    Hope you're ok Jackie.
Why is it if we fall, we always feel silly and hope no one saw us?

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Sorry to hear that Jackie. Sometimes the shock of a fall is worse than the injuries. Take care and hope you're not too stiff tomorrow.

You're right though, it is slippery, ask my Mum - she slipped and broke her leg on Saturday - turns out she's torn all the ligaments too! They've plated and pinned it, and she isn't allowed to put ANY weight on it for 6 - 8 weeks boy is my Dad going to suffer?!!!
