Hi friends, does anybody save grass cuttings for making liquid fertiliser, I pack mine in black bin bags, leave in corner of garden to rot and liquidfy, then drain off liquid into old plastic bottles to use on plants etc. am I safe using on allotment? And are cuttings any use afterwards .

I use them up as mulch, esp on the spuds & onions & carrots. I also put a 2" layer in the daleks, to get them really cooking.
