  • Fun: Can You Name....?

    For no particular reason I was trying to remember the names of the Banks children in Mary Poppins, and could remember the boy but not the girl, so I had to look it up. That got me thinking, how many characters can I remember the names of?

    So, JFF, see if you can name these without looking any up;

    1. the Banks children
    2. the seven brothers who wanted seven brides
    3. the seven dwarfs
    4. the swallows
    5. the amazons
    6. the seven Von Trapp children
    7. the seven Walton children

    Seven seems to be a popular number in fictional families, and if you add the swallows and amazons, you get seven again.

    Endless wonder.

    I don't know any of them. Might remember the 7 dwarfs with a struggle, but I don't think I've ever known the rest. Never read or watched them.

              Thought these might be a bit either easy or not a clue depending on people's age.

                        Sorry Lumpy, but you're wrong (or hard of hearing, like me )

                        Captain Flack's firemen are Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble, and Grubb.

                        Pugh and Pugh are twins you see
