Is it worth the waiting for?

'tis either me or t'other half that do the evening meal. When we have eaten our fill we make comments as to whether it hit the spot and then proceed to clear up.
Oh how I wish I didn't need to eat. Food neither excites nor fulfills me.
Give me a supplement pill and time to do the other things that I enjoy.
    What say you?

I'm quite the other way. I don't eat to live, I live to eat. Sadly, as I age, you can tell!

I have to be in the moad to eat and lately have to remind myself to do so, it isn't until i felt faint today that i realised i hadn't eaten. Bad habit i have gotten into putting off stopping for a break at school and working through not healthy at all. Losing weight but for all the wrong reasons.

Perhaps you should go and see your doctor just to check everything is o.k.

I'm with Flum love cooking and love eating.
OH and DS both don't do eating at all and only eat if there is nothing better to do. DS could do with a Sensory deprivation room as he will refuse to eat anything given half the chance.

Makes it hard work if you cook a special meal and know the pair of them would rather be anywhere else instead.

I LOOOVVVVEEEEE food. Working away means I get to eat some quite "interesting" things, but the whole food thing for me is great.
There are very few pleasures in life (for me anyway) better than eating a great tasting meal. The steak I had last night in a restaurant in Oran was one of the best I have ever eaten.

you sound like my partner, he'd rather take a pill, he hates chewing.

I've just discovered pierogi and maggi sauce, so unfortunately food is exciting me way too much lately....

I have never heard of pierogi. If it is in the same category as gnocchi I really don't wish to know.

they're little polish dumplings filled with various things, at the moment my favourite is cheese and potato. You boil them, then fry them, then cover them with the sauce.
Theyr'e basically like little cheese and onion pasties.
I'm having some in a minute

We are with Flummery and smallfrog.

                            We are total foodies.

You have to eat, so you might as well make it a pleasurable experience. As the garden/greenhouse is starting to yield crops, we have so many recipes we are looking forward to.

Gammon, new potatoes and broad beans with parsley sauce. Very simple, but oh so tasty when home grown. Salad Nicoise with new potatoes and french beans, Navarin of lamb with new potatoes, baby onions, baby carrots and broad beans/peas. And of course Delia's red peppers stuffed with tomatoes, garlic and anchovies.

                            Roll on.
