  • The first single you bought?

What was the first single you bought?

It's bound to be embarassing. Mine was Puppy Love - Donny Osmond. I swear I am heterosexual (today!). My brother played it as the first song at my 40th and I had to dance to it all alone!

I used to live just around the corner from EA and all you heard all summer was Eddie Bloody Grant.

Been asked this one before and, rather embarrassingly, it's Remember I'm a Womble - my excuse being that I was very young at the time!

Try this out also www.hit40uk.com/birthday and see what was No 1 when you were born. Was Elvis for me, but unfortunatley fat, burger eating Elvis, not the slim, hip swerving one!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Beats International: Dub be good to me. (what was that all about!) I'm proud to say my 'first' was a vinyl - think it was the only vinyl single I bought as the 'oh so modern' cassettes were all the rage soon after!

I didn't buy singles till the 1980's when I helped a mate with his Disco, so I have no Idea what the 1st one would have been, Albums wise it was
Simon & Garfunkel - Bridge over torubled waters
Pink Floyd - Dark side of the moon
                    ntg
Never be afraid to try something new.
