  • Feeling Rubbish

I've had a really bad cold since Sunday, the last 2 days I've been coughing so hard Ive been sick, my head feels like its going to split in 2 and my eyes are burning, I've been through so many tissues its unbelivable!
    feeling really sorry for myself.
cant take anything other that paracetamol.
And Ive got to go to sheffield tonight for work.
I had 3 days Holiday booked this week (typical) to get the living room stripped down to the brick ready for plastering.
(Ive been in bed all week)
    feeling lousy.

OK moan over you can all go back to having happy thoughts now.

I found when I was pregnant, every ailment hit double hard!!((x))You've not got long to go now have you?
As for your annual leave...not sure of your companies policy, but where I used to work,if you were ill whilst on A/L then you could claim back the holiday...maybe worth a try?
Hope you feel a bit better soon,xx

Oh poor you. I'd cry off sick - you can't work when you feel that bad. Coddle yourself a bit.

Im off sick today but I need to be in sheffield by 9am tomorrow so really need to go down tonight, they have booked a hotel for me but I wont be joining them on the xmas night out they were planning for tonight.
they wont let me claim back holiday because Im sick and anyway Ive been saving my holiday all year so I could get the living room finished (just finished kitchen) so Im only working about 8 days this month anyway and they are all the really important days I didnt feel I could miss.
I just feel that Ive been ill all the way through this pregnancy with one thing or another, I never normally get ill and on the rare occations I do Im better in a couple of days, this is really getting me down.
          Thanks for listening

Big (((hugs))) Yo. Do you want some help with anything? I'm no plasterer, but I can take orders and make brews Still got your place in the SatNav!
Are you drinking plenty of fruit juice? Eating veggie soup? Taking echinacea? All are immune system support. Babs will be taking a lot of your stored vits etc, so you'll need extra
Doesn't sound like you should be going toSheffield, or anywhere else for that matter! If you don't rest you aren't going to get better. People get ill, it can't be helped!

Sometimes in pregnancy you think you'll never feel well again. It's not true - you will! Listen to Sarah - BE ILL - they'll cope without you.

If you're ill, don't go. You wouldn't go with a broken leg now, would you?

And they won't want a dose of your germs anyway!

I agree hon, you shouldnt be going anywhere the way you are at the moment. Stay home, stay warm and get yourself better. If you push yourself before you're well enough you'll only be worse for it.

Sending big [[[[[[[[[[[[hugs]]]]]]]]]]] as well to try to ease some of the rotten feeling.

LadyWayne's the same as you - she rarely gets colds at all, yet she's had two within the last couple of months. She feels better now, so will you eventually.

Bean says hello to Sprout by the way (I can tell these things).

Stay put, it's cold and miserable out there.
