Aaaaah, yes, Garlic. I planted it waaaaaay back in November - wonder if they're still there!

Only joking - I've weeded the bed, so I know they're there. How will I know when it's ready?

(Yes, I did grow some last year, but can't remember when I harvested! )

The plants put their leaves down into growing the bulb like onions they'll start to back off in the next week or two and brown off I might have a 'furtle' and see how they are growing before lifting and drying.

By the way, stop watering them about now, they need to cure or the bulbs will split and not store. Once the bottom leaves start to brown then they should be ready.

Bearing in mind how many crops I'm losing this year; believe me - any harvest is a good one right now. Right next to this were about 10 broadies I had to pull and chuck on the contaminated manure heap to be taken away [when they pull their finger out and give me a removal date].

Stop watering!!!!!? I didn't start! We had a wet winter. Then snow for two months. Then rain. OK, we had a dry spell (I weeded then ) now it's wet again.

*Makes note to water stuff! LOL
