  • Electric Plug Monitor

Hey, I'm back after a lot of un-avoidable work

I have been stuck in the office and it's been sooooo hot. Air conditioning has been on and I can't help but imagine it has cost a rather large sum to keep the room at 18c

Has anyone tried these PlugIn Power, Energy COsub2sub Meter : Power and Energy Monitors : Maplin sort of things?

I can wire the air con onto a plug for a little while to monitor the cash it is sucking up but just wanted to know how accurate they were

My electricity company gave away free monitors. They consume a lot of batteries as they did not plug into the mains but monitored at the main fuse unit the total electricity used.

Very good to see what uses electricity at first, but this stops after about 2 months when the novelty wears off, and I don't use it now.

I only want it to see the consumption. I am not going to sit and watch it all day
