    Dreams,,,,,,,what do they mean ??

    Evening all,

    Srange one here, for the last week I have been dreaming various dreams but they have all involved one of my brothers (I have 5),, his name is dave.

    3 years ago today I lost my father, and the person the hospital contacted was my brother Dave.

    Why have I been having dreams about my brother and not my father whome I loved so very much ???,

    Who is the dream expert on here and who can help explain this,, but please anyone who is going to come back with a smart comment please don't bother I do not need sarcasm etc, I am being serious.

    I'm no expert but...

    If the hospital contacted your brother was it your brother that contacted you?

    If so then perhaps that is why you are dreaming of him at this time because he is so closely linked to your fathers death.

        Sorry for your loss. Losing a parent is never easy, I lost my father 15 years ago and I still miss him and talk to him. Today would have been his birthday. Is Dave the eldest or the one you are closest to, or as Lizy suggested, the one who let you know what had happened? Or even the one who most resembles your father?

            Sorry to hear your news.
            I don't recall dreaming about my father until many years after his death.

            I wonder if you are giving your brother a chance to say he's made a mistake- and your father is actually alive?
