  • Do you play Bingo?

Have just got back from my 1st session of Bingo, I didn't win but it was an experience trying to keep up.........must take my glasses next time...........

Had a very pleasing experience when I got out of the car, it shows how often I go into town, I didn't even know they were building it.........

Was that your Challenge for the week?
I went to Bingo once for a dare. The hall was full of women with their hair in curlers
    Haven't been back since

The kids in my class LOVE bingo! We play maths bingo (you pick your numbers, write them on a board. Teacher puts a sum on the board, say 5+3. Everyone has to work out the answer, no skiving. If you have 8 on your board, you cross it out, just like normal old lady bingo).

It's more effective that just doing plain maths.

I played Bingo once I was 11year old at a St Johns Ambulance holiday weekend in Rhyll I won a pink brush comb and mirror set. That was my one and only game and I only played then because they offered us a free game

            Primary or Secondary TS?

I am a maths teacher and play this near the end of a lesson sometimes. Can even be used with algebra

Last time I played was a few years back- in France.

..If you want a real challenge- try doing it in French!!!

I go to bingo every now and again with my nanna (grandma), it doesn't really do much for me but it's nice to spend time with her all the same.

I hate Bingo, and I really can't understand why there are so many ads on TV for online bingo sites. It's "Housey Housey" for goodness sake. Came in a games compendium set at Christmas. Didn't like it then either.

Actually the last time I played was in French. I used to work for Denman College and they were doing the photos for the next course brochure. Some of the courses didn't have many takers so we staff were offered free courses to make up the numbers. I did a top-up French course and part of it was an exercise playing Bingo.

When I was a kid my nan used to be a warden in an "old people's home" (I'm sure there's a more PC description nowadays), and I used to play Bingo along with the residents in the "communal room" (again, I'm sure it's called something different these days). I'm sure they let me win on purpose.

Haven't played it since - now it's all hi-tech dobber pens and such. I used to have to make do with one of those mini biro pens you'd find scattered about outside the bookies'.
