I am attempting to make a secret Santa Grotto in our 'dump room'. So far I have covered the windows with sky scenes of santa, reindeer and sleighs and stars. Will cover the ceiling lights with navy blue crepe paper with star cut outs. We bought from Makro an illuminated reindeer and sleigh and that will be filled with pressies. That's as far as I have got. I can see the transformation in my minds eye I just wonder if that's where it will stay. Wish me luck........

Went on a willow weaving day on Sunday and learnt how to make garlands and christmas trees. I came home with a pack to make more- just need to take over the bath and soak the willow for a couple of days.Wonder if the fam. will mind

Whoo! Our Britain in Bloom group are booked into a willow weaving course in March. Sounds like you enjoyed yours?

You've made a good start Brengirl, these day we only get as far as decorating the tree and putting the cards around the room.

OK my creative head has deserted me today - how do I make these please? Sounds like a great break-up-from -school-we-are-bored activity!
