Come on, who got the most unusual gardening-type prezzie this year, and were you happy or humpy? I got a raised bed which number 2 son gave me, saying- 'people are gonna think I bought you a load of old wood and some nails' but i was delirious! Number 1 son bought me a bendy tripod (called a gorilla and you can attach it to anything )so i can take weird pics down the allotment and they both sort of look at me now with a look of pity (little do they know it's in the genes and pretty soon they will be turning into me and their dad HA HA!)
So lets see who got the weird and wonderful and who got the simply naff!

I got the usual strange looks when I went through all the wrapping paper, ribbon and attachments before it went into the bin. But I got a good load of bits and pieces for my craftwork!

I had no gardening pressies this year, but I didn't really need anything so that was fair enough. I did get a lovely book of recipes for the slow-cooker so will be trying some of those over the yukky winter evenings that are left - leaving me free to plan what to try growing next year!

I got the 'Curious Gardener's Almanac' book by Niall Edworthy as part of pressie from O.H., not sure if he means I'm curious as in peculiar though! Only glanced through it but some interesting stuff. Also got some garden centre vouchers but that was all in the way of gardening gifts.
