  • Buried Treasure!!??

Just wondered if anyone else has found anything unusual buried in their plots or gardens? Last year I was emptying one of my containers to re-fill with fresh compost, to my suprise about two thirds down, I found a boiled egg in it's shell!!! I couldn't believe it! Someone suggested it might have been a fox but what I don't understand is that the soil appeared undisturbed.......Spooky

I keep finding teddy bears which Storm likes to bury in my garden.

I once found a block of lard buried on my allotment and other plot holders found loaves of bread. Never did find out how they got there.

        Burnt bits of wardrobes.
        Oh and lots of weeds.

No treasure yet, I live in hope.

        Did you eat the egg?

erm no, I did offer it to OH but he declined too So it went in the compost. My kids thought I had lost my marbles and planted it there myself...nice to know who your friends are

Only thing that I found when we moved in to our house was a micers nest in the old composter! More of a surprize than treasure lol certainly gave me a shock.

                Will keep looking.

There is an unexploded V2 rocket under my plot. I hope I never "find" it.
