  • Blog help, please - Where to start

I'd like to create a blog on this site as an online diary and picture collection as much for me as anyone else.

However, when I click on the blog link on my settings I get this screen:-

And the settings menu will not move using click and drag to let me put in a title, what do I need to do to get going please.

(Sorry in advance if this is a Noddy question.)

PS. I just don't have enough time to say hello to everyone as they join so please take this as a delighted to see you here!

That looks fine, I had gone that way before but wasn't sure about making my first post from there. Does each entry go up with its own title or will my blog as a whole have the title from the first post?

      Thanks

I used blogspot on Google. Haven't a clue what I'm doing but I like the layout and colours!

It does look nice. I just like the idea of doing it on this site so my gardening is in one place!

I think that's why I didn't want it to all be in one place - so that I could hide it away if it all went pearshaped and nobody here would know about it!
There are lots of options on blogspot - I just went with something that was simple and appealed to me. I'm not competent enough to use all the bells and whistles,

I've reported this to the tech guys too.

You should be able to go into 'new post' and give it a title and each one should be different.

Zazen so if I do follow your advice will it automatically put a link to my blog when I post?

Please remember I am computor illiterate.

Why not go to blogspot anyway and just have a dabble. It doesn't cost anything, you don't have to tell anyone and you can play around to your heart's content. If you don't like it delete it and start again.
But you know you can come to me anytime for advice about anything that is troubling you - I can only laugh!
