    bad snow in north east of scotland

    Its only been snowing since 5am and the roads and pavements are absolutely full of snow.
    Driving on the bypass is only 20mph and there are accidents everywhere
    Is there snow where you are?

      Hi, am just north of Inverurie and going nowhere at the moment. Took my neighbour 45 mins to go 5 miles, she passed 2 cars in fields. Traffic going into Aberdeen is back to Kintore - about 12 miles and crawling. Ellon and Stonehaven roads just as bad. Don't think the council has had any gritters out over night. We've had a covering of snow, but think it's the ice that's the worst. In saying that, the snow's just starting here again. Where abouts are you Marielle?

        I'm at foothills of the Campsies and we had a flurry there, left about an inch layer on the ground.

        GO AWAY SNOW!

        The two daffy's that have already bloomed don't care though!

            im fordoun near laurencekirk and the roads are bad. Kids are at local academy though...
            snow only started here about 5am
            theres a over turned lorry on the bypas near laurencekirk

              Bright but cold here.
              The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

                        Cloudy and quite windy here very nippy though dont need anymore snow thank you my land is still water logged from the last lot
