  • Avoiding stupidly named products.

I don't know if it's a form of snobbery, but am I the only one that avoids buying things with ridiculous names?

Take plants/seeds for instance, I just could never bring myself to buy the tomatoes 'Tomazing' or 'Tomarvellous' or the petunia 'Crazytunia', no matter how fabulous the write-up, just because the names make me shrivel with their cringe-worthiness...

I don't so much avoid silly names but products with annoying adverts I do, the above is a prime example - who is Barry Scott anyway? (or Scarry Bott, as we call him)

Hahaha! I thought it was just me. I agree with all the above. Although I do buy beers with silly names - they're usually fab! Barry Scott is a stage name, his real name is Neil Burgess. I even stopped buying Marathon bars when they were renamed. Mental!

Glad I'm in such good company.

Seriously it has carcinogens in it.

The most annoying thing about Cillit Bang is that it actually does work

Yes, it does. I only know this because Mr.G buys it.
