  • Anyone with Sky+ able to do me a huge favour?

We're about to move into the new house, and we won't have Sky anymore and I'm halfway through series of 'Grey's Anatomy' and 'America's Next Top Model'

Would anyone be really sweet and record them for me and transfer onto DVD or Video (which I'll supply) and post them on to me? I know its a bit of an imposition, and I wouldn't normally ask, but as Princess Leia says 'Help me Obi Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope'

I would offer, PB - but I haven't a clue how to do it! If you can take me through it, step by step - then fine! PM me!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

I record Greys anyway in case I ever miss one - but have no idea how to transfer it. Would be happy to help if instructed!!

Thanks guys - apparently its quite easy (according to my OH). He's been busy recording off everything we've got saved on the hard drive. I think its as simple as pressing the 'copy' button when you are hovering over the required programme in the planner, but I will check that with Himself just to be sure.

It is quite simple, but the thing is as well as having Sky+ you need to have a DVD Recorder hooked up to it.

Now that's the workings of a truly logical mind that is. You're not wrong Hotstuff, you're not wrong

PB, as long as you can tell me what time they're on and what channels I can do it for you.

Ok folks - when you have it all worked out, can you let us know - in nice simple language - how to do it? I have the whole of the Wartime Kitchen Garden series saved and it's using Sky box capacity!

                            Aww, thanks Hotstuff!

Okay gang, as Hotstuff has the where-withall already set up, and knows what to do, I shall take him up on his kind offer (rest assured I won't ask you to do it in the future - just this series ). I'll let you know times and days, and sort out sending you some discs.

                            Thank you!!!

Jeanied, do you have either a DVD recorder or a VCR and do you know if it's connected to your Sky+ box?
