Not thought of putting the heating on but I have got a lightweight jumper on today...and have sat with a blanket the last few nights.the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.

Yeah me! Scarey's mum is visiting us at the moment and I had to go and get her a blanket last evening

I've thought about it. The laundry I put to dry yesterday afternoon in the dinning room bit is still damp - a sure sign of colder weather

My indoor laundry is still damp too.
My outdoor laundry is wetter than when it was in the washer.
The sun has just popped it's head out, but the village is underwater. It's normal for August round here.

No central heating on until November, fire can go on at night for a little bit to warm the lounge up in October, if neccessary, otherwise its an extra layer of clothes.
Can afford to put it on more than that!Comment

Thats the maddest thing about it at the moment - when the sun does come out, he's baking hot! I don't know what wear on me feet at the moment. Wellies with me toes cut out I guess ;pComment

lastnight.....Woodfire lit in lounge- and needed a hottie for the third time this month
