  • Anyone else celebrating Thanksgiving?

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone on Thursday. I just wondered if anyone else is celebrating? My OH is American and we are having friends over at the weekend for a huge weekend of eating, drinking and being merry.

Its the first time we have hosted it and I am looking forward to it very much, as I don't get a look in when we go to the families for Christmas.

The first Thanksgiving feast lasted three days providing enough food for 53 pilgrims and 90 Native Americans. The feast consisted of fowl, venison, fish, lobster, clams, berries, fruit, pumpkin, squash, beetroot and turkey

add some budweiser, and have a good weekend.

We'll be celebrating Thanksgiving (I'm American). We'll also be having Thanksgiving dinner this weekend because unfortunately it's not a national holiday!

No Americans here so it's not really relevant to us but for those of you from that side of the pond best wishes and all that.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

OK, changes Sat-Nag. Do we go to Bedford before or after Coventry???

Happy Thanksgiving to all those celebrating, anyway.

Will not be celebrating it as no Americans (or extra days off work!) here
