    Good night all.
    What a busy day.
Looking after my grandson for most of the day.
Daughter and her kids came in for a late lunch .
Then got the best news, my son won the barber of the year for colour and cutting.
He has done all this before and retired.
Couldn't resist another try, and won first prize again.
    What a roller coaster weekend.

And your hands begin to harden.

In the glory of the garden.

    Mornings!
It's grey and raining and guess what? the path's flooded again. The garden's are sodden, so there's nowhere for the water to drain-off to, if it carries on next step is flooded gardens. I always wondered why the path in my garden was higher than the footpath, I may find out the wisdom behind that soon.... So glad I had a couple of hours on the plot yesterday, putting the last of the canes in the shed and clearing another bed for winter.

Must tackle the ironing pile today

    Have a good'un

Morning, looks like we could have a nice day, I have a heap of shredding to do after the last of the wild hedge was trimmed. Hope it stays dry for those with soggy gardens/plots

    Good morning.
A nice dry morning but a bit on the cold side.
Lots of odd jobs to tackle today.
    Have a good one.

    Afternoon n'alln'all
The rain here held off today just long enough to get plasterboard in the trailer!..phew.
However...yesterday the heavens opened half way through the seed swap.
Funnily enough loads of peeps just stayed outside chatting under brollies about gardening! Now THAT's a sign of a real gardener eh???
The most unusual thing which was donated was bat poo!!!! How fantastic this that?? (1 teaspoon to 1 litre of water apparently)

Back to DIY and sewing today now that everything has been unpacked and put away after yesterday.

Also...Well done to bramble's son...that's an amazing achievement!

Have fun there Snadge -hope none of the tiles cracked?
Thelma...no ironing for me at all at the moment...yipppeeee!

    See ya later peeps...

Weii, I now have a working shower with no broken tiles.

Tomorrow I have a delivery of bathroom wall tiles from B&Q under their 3 for 2 offer. This has saved me about 100 squid in total.
I am quite good at tiling but I hate doing it, ...needs must though..
