I'd find it quite funny to be honest as I find the whole thing about Valentine's Day where you're expected to be romantic because the media tells you to be and spend a fortune on a rubbish meal and over priced flowers is the most unromantic thing in the world. I usually make a card for OH but left to myself would sooner the whole thing was ignored by all. If you're only going to do something on one day a year make it one that is special to you personally and not a media excess.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
