    24/25/26 thread

    Can't remember (nor be frustrated by the Vine's "search" mechanism) - but last year we had a bit of a thread over Xmas for chit (and indeed chat) for anyone who felt like it, lost souls, bah-humbugs and me - might just have been part of the normal chatback thread in which case ignore this - otherwise perhaps we could use this thread to kick off 2018's "meh holiday" thread

    - mods can do whatever they want to the thread title - cos they are mods - but I'm not (necessarily) giving permission without a well formulated reason PM'ed to me in gold-leaf...

    Anyhow - I'd also just like to say happy Winterval to all

                I'm keen on Xmas too - just seems that no one I'm related to wants to talk to me...

                          ^Very good.

                          I'd invite you round for lunch on Wednesday (not tomorrow as I've no idea what we're having - Mr Snoop is out shopping) as we have an enormous joint of pork. We have an Italian friend coming round but could really do with half a dozen more folk. Cats will get some, dogs will probably get some (though they won't notice because it'll be down their gullets before they've even tasted it) and we'll still have leftovers for days.

                          In fact, you could all charter a plane, now I come to think of it. Round trip in a day, what do you think? No room at the inn for staying over and it's way too cold for sleeping in tents.

                            Whoop whoop I've got my striped, glittery humbug trunk sorted. OK its not in the right position but is perfect for sucking cobwebs off the ceiling.

                            So, my question is.....................is this the thread for everyone who wants to pop in to say 'Hello' and those sad sods (clumps of earth before a MOD gets their undies in a twist) like me who will, due to whatever circumstances have the next few days like me.................nothing different from any other and would enjoy a bit of company.
                            Need to know pronto as I have to try and remember where to post my endless waffle.

                              Here's good, Lumpy. I'm passing on the GR this year, as it's all a bit too hectic for me. Waffle away to your heart's content. I do. Baldy doesn't waffle much, but I'm sure he'll forgive us and anyone else who chooses to join in.
