    No that didn't help

    Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh - Nope nor that

Some little oik has trashed about 11/2 rows of potatoes. Judging by what is left I'd say they dug some of them

If I get my hands on them, they will get such a wallop they won't sit down for a week

Think I will make my prescence felt at the local police station and help their unsolved crime figures

Spent the evening shucking broad beans and sipping rhubarb schnappes (doesn't it improve with age) so the world seems quite rosy at the moment

Castration with a rusty razor blade sounds like a more apt punishment.
The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Chris B so sorry to hear of your problems, it makes me very angry that idiots do this sort of thing.

I have broad beens to 'shuck' tonight....I also have my first ever batch of rhubarb schnapps to try.... what a fantastic idea, rude not to have a wee sip after all. Do I need to chill the schnapps?

Lets just hope they get theirs - it makes me sooooo mad. Chopping off of 'offending' appendages springs to mind. How do we teach respect these days?

I think a blow torch and pliers would stop them from doing it again. Who wants to hold them whilst I.................

Sorry to hear that ChrisB. It's just so senseless. Just malicious mischief.

Just a personal thing this, but I think it's a bit like strawberries and melons etc, the flavour is better at room temperature.

Either way it's one of those you feel going down and warming you as it does

Thanks everybody for youi thoughts & offers

I just can't imagine why they targeted my allotment, it's not the tidiest one ,and usually they go down one of the paths and do a little damage to several plots, this time it is just mine.
