    Wire frame supports

    Hello,
    Hope this is the right section for this question.

    I am looking for 4 fence supports for my fruits (blackberries and raspberries). This is the ideal:

    But they are pricey and delivery charges are insane (some places are £50 delivery online). I have been searching for ages locally (cotswolds) but they are either are not wide enough or not tall enough.

    2.4m x 100mm diameter is the dimensions I have been advised is the best for stability.
    Has anyone got any advice or links to good places?

    Do you have a local farmers co- op? We got loads from ours & they were cheaper than that & good quality.

      Although I agree that good timber would be a benefit, good construction is also the key so you would need one of these for the best result:

        Can I ask why you are making something so substantial for the likes of Raspberries & Blackberries. I thought you was makin' a fruit cage.......... Buy a couple of broom 'andles & hammer them in 2 foot. That leaves you about 3ft for wires, plenty enough.

          Farmers coop? Not sure but we have a countrywide if that's what you mean? They dont seem to have any.

          I have a post knocker banger. I have everything now for the supports apart from the posts.
