  • Pruning Saw

I've got a double-toothed pruning saw and its one of the best garden tools I've ever bought, if not the best. Amazing how big a branch it can cut through.
However, obviously it has its limits ...
Got a fallen tree trunk. Dead wood, not green. I've let it lie but its in the way. Would like to cut the end of it off to make a path through, leaving the rest en situ.
Is there a bigger version of the double-toothed pruning saw available does anyone know?

I think pruning saws only run up to about 300mm.

I have a 24" Bahco bow saw for cutting larger timber. About £15

      Thank you. Are they double-toothed?

If you mean ... Do they cut on the forward & backward passes ... then yes, search for bow or frame saw, they come in various sizes
