  • Pegs for netting

I hate ironing and it encroaches on my available time to spend in the garden so I send it out to be done. It's mostly OH's shirts, but the best part is they come back on wire hangers. I cut of the corners and they make excellent pegs to hold down netting or my plastic cloches which blow away at the slightest gust if wind, and they're free sort of

Hmmmm, lovin' it Bal - really get excited by using stuff that normally gets chucked ...!!

I used the plastic mushroom cartons with the bottoms cut out to plant my tom plants into grow bags, today ... I'll see if they work ...

Great idea I got some circular clips from the gardening section in pound shop which have been holding up really well.

P.S. I hate ironing too - luckily hubby loves it
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

Does my OH know where the iron lives

It's been really windy here and my fleece kept blowing off kale and kohl rabi, so I used clothes pegs . Perfect ...so far.
