Is it possible to take hardwood cuttings (I think that's the term), from cherry and pear trees? I'm trying the same process that I've used successfully in the past for grapevines but I dont know if Im wasting my time.

You'd probably be better posting this in the 'Feeling Fruity' forum. FB will probably know the answer (I suspect it'd be to graft it?) as I know that he's done a lot with cuttings/grafting tree scions etc. -
