Hubby's work. Yes, it is a sculptural/metal work sprinkler

Wildlife nesting station cunningly disguised as an old water pump.

Something is broken inside so it doesn't pump water any more. But a pair of great tits decided it was a great place to hatch their eggs. They've nested inside the top a couple of times before, then last year they inspected it and decided to go somewhere else. But this year they were back again. I didn't get a photo of them because they were shy, but here's where they were going in and out. I don't know how the fledglings managed to get out, but I've seen at least one that did.

Then after they'd gone some wasps built a nest inside the spout

It's right at the back of my house, but they didn't bother me at all, and kept my container plants clear of aphids. They might have been the same ones that usually nest in an old milk churn.
