As there isn't a category, I would like to show my Swiss Chard - Bright Lights . It has given me such enjoyment this year as everyone I gave some to thought it was multi-coloured Rhubarb.

Bright Lights is brilliant - really lives up to its name. I grow mine in amongst the flowers - sometimes I eat it too

I had it caged in the Brassica bed but god knows why as I also had some in the square foot bed like yours amongst flowers and it was just as lovely.

We were at the Eden Project a few years ago and saw some bloke confidently pointing at some chard in the veg garden and telling his kids it was rhubarb - OH told me off for loudly discussing chard in an effort to let the kids know what it really was

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Tried and Tested...but the results are inconclusive

I like the drama of the leaf colours as well as the stalks. The dark crimson/mahogany is my favourite as its such a good contrast with orange or yellow flowers like marigolds.
(reading that back, it sounds so pretentious, but you know what I mean!)

Different plants but all grown from the same packet of seeds! One like this Leaf Beet 'Bright Lights' - Beetroot & Chard Seeds - Thompson & Morgan
